To Confirm Your Booking
To confirm your booking with Egypt Taxi Tours, please inform us of your request. A representative from our company will then contact you to discuss and finalize the arrangements and send you an itinerary for your final confirmation. Once you have confirmed these details, you must make the deposit payment as discussed in your details. Payment can be made via wire transfer or credit/debit card (Visa and MasterCard are both accepted).
Amendments by You
Any changes made to the original booking are subject to availability. If the full payment has been received and/or a voucher has been issued, no administrative fees will be applied except for changes to air travel tickets.
Payment/Booking Policy
To secure your spaces on the tour, including hotel rooms, cruise cabins, domestic flight tickets, and other travel-related services, we offer a low down payment of just 25%. During Christmas, New Year, and Easter holidays, the down payment is 50%. The remaining balance can be paid up to two days prior to your arrival date or in cash upon arrival at the destination to your tour manager. This means that your booking will be a risk-free investment.
Payment by Credit Card
When paying by credit card, our bank regulations require the following documents to be faxed or emailed to Egypt Taxi Tours, or given to our representative upon your arrival at the airport. Without these documents, we will not be able to charge your credit card for the agreed-upon services.
The documents needed are a signed authorization letter to Egypt Taxi Tours allowing the withdrawal of the required amount from your credit card. The signature must match that appearing on your credit card and passport.
Monthly Installments
Egypt Taxi Tours offers a new payment plan that allows you to pay for your tours, Nile cruise, or other travel packages in monthly installments. You will pay an agreed-upon amount every month, determined by the total cost of the tour booked, to pay the deposit in six monthly installments leading up to your arrival. The balance will be paid upon your arrival in the destination in cash or by credit/debit card. Alternatively, you can pay the full cost in monthly installments before your arrival in the destination.
Cancellation Policy (Excluding Peak Period)
If you need to cancel your trip, please send a cancellation request via fax or email to provide the company with written confirmation that your reservation should be canceled. The following scale of charges will be applied:
- From the date of booking until 61 days before your arrival date, 15% of the entire tour price will be charged.
- Between 60 and 31 days before your arrival date, 25% of the entire tour price will be charged.
- Between 30 and 15 days before your arrival date, 50% of the entire tour price will be charged.
- Between 14 and 1 day before your arrival date, 100% of the entire tour price will be charged.
Additionally, airlines charge fees for both domestic and international flights which are subject to the airlines’ terms and conditions at the time of booking.
Force Majeure
In the event of a NOT TO TRAVEL warning issued by the government or airline to the destination, Egypt Taxi Tours offers a very flexible cancellation policy. We will refund you the amount paid for the tour package, or your payment will be available as future travel credit and travel voucher that can be used towards any of the destinations where we operate tours. Reservations will be adjusted to reflect these travel credits automatically. Only flight cancellation/changing fees are charged, according to the airline’s terms and conditions, and bank surcharges fees are applied to the deposit amount paid.
We prioritize your well-being and safety above all else, and for that reason, we have adapted our cancellation policy to reflect our values.
Cancellation for Christmas, New Year, and Easter Vacation
If you need to cancel your trip during Christmas, New Year, or Easter holidays, the following scale of charges will be applied:
- From the date of booking until 61 days before your arrival date, 25% of the entire tour price will be charged.
- Between 60 and 31 days before your arrival date, 50% of the entire tour price will be charged.
- Between 30 and 15 days before your arrival date, 75% of the entire tour price will be charged.
- Between 14 and 1 day before your arrival date, 100% of the entire tour price will be charged.
Please note that the cancellation policy for flights during peak periods is subject to the airlines’ terms and conditions at the time of booking.
